December 19 - John Mulheren's
Funeral, Rumsun, NJ After the recent death of entrepreneur,
phalanthropist John Mulheren, one of his closest friends, Bruce Sprigsteen
issued a statement which read, "When my friend
John Mulheren died last night, it felt like our town had lost half of its
population, such was the size of his presence and the feeling of loss among
those of us who knew him. He was always doing, always building, always moving.
Whatever he touched he changed, whether it was our community or your life. His
great generosity, spirit and friendship will be deeply missed." Bruce
attended Mulheren's funeral on Friday December 19th along with other noteworthy
names such as Jon Bon Jovi. Springsteen preformed at the request of Mulheren's
wife to close out the ceremony.
