In 1972 The E Street Band was born. This was the beginning of the era which made Bruce what he is today. But The E Street Band went through a rough period before the sound and the right personnel had been defined. A period with constant touring activity in remote areas of the United States for just handfuls of people as well as the favorite turfs of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts where crowds already knew that Bruce and the band were destined to fame.
