Mention the "Darkness Tour" to a Bruce fan and chances are his or her eyes will start to sparkle. It is by many fans considered the greatest tour of Bruce's career, which is the same as saying the greatest tour in rock 'n' roll history by anyone. When it started it was like letting a wild animal out of its cage. The band roared through the US playing longer and longer shows, always trademarked by Bruce's chainsaw guitar solos and his willingness to drain himself completely, both physically and emotionally.
